The future of Indian cinema will rest on films like Baahubali, says Shah Rukh Khan

One of the most-awaited Bollywood films of the year, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees is slated to hit the screens soon. Directed by Rahul Dholakia and jointly produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Gauri Khan, the action-crime-thriller is based on the life of an old Gujarati Criminal. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistan actress Mahira Khan.

On Monday afternoon, during a media interaction for Raees promotions, SRK had revealed that the future of Indian cinema will rest on films like films like Baahubali.

The Chakde India actor was quoted as saying;

Baahubali is one of the finest cinematic experiences in recent times. The future of Indian cinema will rest on films like Baahubali which expands the market of Indian films across the globe. I'm eagerly waiting for it's sequel, Baahubali : The Conclusion.
