Ajith's 57th film to go on floors on Thala's birthday
After blockbusters such as Veeram and Vedalam, Tamil superstar Ajith and director Siva are now set to team up for the third time.
The untitled project, which will be Ajith's 57th film, will be produced by TG Thyagarajan under his banner, Sathya Jyothi Films.

According to the latest updates, the shooting of the film will commence on Ajith's birthday, 1 May. While the makers had initially planned a Diwali 2016 release, this has now been rescheduled to Pongal 2017.

According to reports, the film will be shot in some urban locales across the globe and Ajith will sport a youthful look in the film. The female lead has not been cast yet. According to reports, the names of Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara, Kriti Sanon and Tamannaah Bhatia are doing the rounds for the lead role. Anirudh has signed on to compose the music for the film.
