Thala 57 : Second Indian film after Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale to be shot in Bulgaria

Ajith fans can finally rejoice now as the superstar's upcoming film, Thala 57 is all set to commence officially from the first week of August. It has been confirmed that the regular shoot of the film will begin from next week in Bulgaria. Over 30 members of the cast including the lead actors Ajith and Kajal Agarwal will be a part of this 40-days-long schedule in Bulgaria.

The untitled film will now become the only second Indian film to be shot in Nu Boyana Film Studio in Bulgaria. The 2015 Rohit Shetty directorial, Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol starrer Dilwale was the first Indian film shot in the beautiful country. Several Hollywood blockbusters like Londan Has Fallen, 300: Rise Of An Empire, The Expendables I & II and Aliens have been shot in Nu Boyana Film Studio, located in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.

The film, which will see Ajith play a double role, will be actor's third outing with director Siva. The duo's previous films, Veeram and Vedalam were huge hits at the Box Office.
