Tamil superstar Ajith and director AR Murugadoss​ to revive Mirattal?

Tamil superstar Ajith and director AR Murugadoss are ​likely to team up ​again ​for a new film, named ​Mirattal. The shooting of the project was earlier planned to commence in January 2016 but was later dropped ​due to various reasons.

​And now, the director-actor duo is likely to collaborate again as AR Murugadoss uploaded a poster of Mirattal featuring Thala Ajith as the cover page of his Twitter account.​ If this speculation is correct, then the Billa actor and the Ghajini director ​will be teaming up after a long gap of 15 years.​

Interestingly, AR Murugadoss made his Kollywood debut by directing Ajith in Dheena in 2001. The action entertainer garnered positive reviews and proved to be a Box Office success. However, post-Dheena, the actor-director duo hasn't done any film together. But Murugadoss has stated on many occasions that he has a tailor-made script ready for Thala and will soon team up with him for the same.
