Robot 2 : The teaser launch of Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar starrer set to be a historical event in Indian cinema

Tamil hit maker Shankar's upcoming magnum-opus, Robot 2 is touted as the most-awaited film of the decade. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, chairman and founder of Lyca Mobile/Productions, for a massive budget of Rs. 350 crore, the film marks the first collaboration of two of India's biggest superstars, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
Catch had previously reported that the teaser launch of Robot 2 is slated to be revealed on 20 November at Mumbai.
And as per recent Kollywood reports, the makers are leaving no stones unturned to promote their teaser launch as the most historical event in Indian cinema. Reportedly, the grand teaser launch will be held in a stadium with the presence of all the major celebrities of Indian cinema. What's more? The makers are also planning to invite many international stars as well to make the start-studded night a memorable one on 20 November.
Meanwhile, the entire shoot of Robot 2 is scheduled to-be wrapped-up by the end of November. Shankar and his team are planning to spend the next nine months on the post-productions of the film so that they can release the biggie on the auspicious occasion of Diwali , next year.
The music of Robot 2 has been composed by Oscar-award-winning composer AR Rahman. The film also stars Madarasipattanam fame Amy Jackson, Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Shajon and Bollywood actor Adil Hussain.
