RIP Amma : Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Mahesh Babu, Jr.NTR, condole Jayalalithaa's death, Kamal Haasan criticised for curt message

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party's leader J.Jayalalithaa passed away at Chennai Apollo Hospital on 5 December night following a cardiac arrest. She was 68.

Jayalalithaa was declared dead on Monday at 11:30 PM. Chennai Apollo Hospital has issued a press statement quoting that;

"With indescribable grief, we announce the sad demise of our esteemed honorable chief minister of Tamil Nadu Puratchi Thalaivi Amma at 11:30 PM today, 5-12-2016.

The sudden death of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has shocked entire South film industry as well. Top South film superstars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Mahesh Babu, Jr.NTR took to their respective Twitter account to pay tributes to Jayalalithaa.

Rajinikanth : "Not just Tamil Nadu but the whole of India lost a brave daughter. May her soul rest in peace "

Mohanlal : "Rest In Peace"

Mammootty : "The Love of the people is the ultimate truth. To be loved as a Mother is above that and beyond impossible, yet Ms Jayalalithaa conquered that Impossible to live on into the future as an example for Women and Men alike. Peace".

Nagarjuna : "I remember my father speaking with great respect and fondness whenever he spoke of Jayalalitha Ji/May her Soul rest in peace??"

Mahesh Babu : "Deeply saddened at the loss of J Jayalalithaa garu. May her family and the whole of Tamil Nadu find strength at this time".

Jr.NTR : "#RipAmma, Great era comes to an end.But her majestic charisma and determination will continue to live and inspire many women in our country".

Meanwhile, Tamil legendary actor Kamal Hassan has been criticized for his curt message on Jayalalithaa's death. The actor tweeted "Deep sympathy for those who depend on Jayalalithaa".
