Last Friday saw the release of Bollywood film, Aamir Khan starrer Dangal at the Kerala Box Office. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and jointly produced by Aamir Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is based on the true story of former wrestler-turned-coach, Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Dangal, which had released in nearly 100 screens across the Kerala took the Kerala Box Office by storm by recording massive collections throughout the opening weekend. The film has shattered Salman Khan blockbuster Sultan's opening day collections and went on to become the first Bollywood film to gross Rs. 20 lakh at the Cochin multiplexes.

And now, the Aamir Khan starrer creates history by becoming the fastest film ever to cross Rs. 1 crore mark at the Cochin multiplexes. Dangal has broken Rajinikanth's Kabali to do so. While the Thalaivar blockbuster took one-theatrical week to record Rs. 1 crore at the Cochin multiplexes, Dangal has crossed the same in 6-theatrical days.

Dangal also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima, Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar.
