Rakul Preet says 'don't compare me with Nayanthara', but why?

2017 has so far been a mixed year for South actress Rakul Preet. While Rakul's most ambitious project with AR Murugadoss, Mahesh Babu, SPYder emerged as a huge disaster, her recent Tamil film with Karthi, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru turned out to be a Box Office hit.

Following the Box Office success, the makers of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru organized a success meet a few days back. During the film's success meet, Rakul Preet urged the media to stop comparing her to superstar Nayanthara.

"Don't compare me with Nayanthara, she is a senior actress to me. She has played many challenging roles, carried entire films on her shoulders, and won box office as well as critics. I have yet to play such challenging roles", Rakul Preet said.
