Tamil megastar Rajinikanth's Kabali has successfully completed its 50 day-theatrical run on 9 September.

The Pa Ranjith-directorial was released on 22 June. The film received a phenomenal response and minted over Rs 100 crore worldwide on its opening day. The film saw a housefull crowd at almost all shows during its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu.

However, the Thalaiva-starrer failed to put up good numbers in Kerala and Telengana, where the distribution rights sold for a whopping price. The mixed reviews have worked against the film to a large extent.

Before Kabali hit the screens, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu stated that his film would break Baahubali's record and would earn 10 times more than Salman Khan's Sultan. But Kabali has failed to cross the collections of both blockbusters at the Box Office.

Kabali is still running to packed houses in limited screens across Tamil Nadu.
