Pulimurugan's amazing theatrical run at the Cochin multiplexes ends, emerges all-time highest grosser

Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan's theatrical run at the Cochin multiplexes has finally came to an end. Directed by Vysakh and produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam, the action-entertainer starred Mohanlal in the role of a hunter, Murugan. Pulimurugan was released on October 7 last year.

And on Thursday this week, Pulimurugan had its's final theatrical screenings at the Cochin multiplexes. The Lalettan starrer had a 119-days long theatrical run at the Cochin multiplexes with nearly 2,80,000 footfalls. The film has grossed a whopping Rs. 4.31 crore to become the all-time highest grossing film at the Cochin multiplexes. Interestingly, Pulimurugan is still running to packed houses in more than 30 centers across the Kerala.

Upon it's release, Pulimurugan had emerged as the fastest Rs. 2 crore grosser at the Cochin multiplexes in 16-theatrical days.

Pulimurugan starred Bengali actress Kamalini Mukherjee as the female lead. The film also starred Telugu actors, Jagapati Babu, Vinu Mohan, Lal and Namitha.
