Pinneyum: Dileep and Kavya Madhavan back on the big screen after 5 years!

Ardent fans of Malayalam cinema can rejoice. For one of the industry's best loved onscreen couples, Dileep and Kavya Madhavan, are back again! According to reports, the super hit couple will play the lead roles in veteran director Adoor Gopalakrishnan's comeback vehicle, Pinneyum.

The last film from Gopalakrishnan, who is India's most acclaimed director and a 17-time national award winner, was the 2008 Oru Pennum Randannum.

Pinneyum will be Dileep's first collaboration with the legendary director. The film, which also stars Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Srinda, Sudeer Karamana and the Marathi actor-director Subodh Bhave, will go on floors in Trivandrum on 11 May.

Dileep and Kavya have worked together in over 20 Malayalam films - including blockbusters like Meesha Madhavan, Thilakkam, Lion, Runway, Kochi Rajavu and Christian Brothers. Their last on screen outing was the 2011 hit film Vellaripravinte Changathi, directed by Akku Akbar.
