Pics inside: New stills from superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala released, teaser out tomorrow

The official teaser of superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala is just few hours away for its release. Directed by Kabali maker PA Ranjith, the film is touted to be the 164th film of Thalaivar. Produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and national award winning actor Dhanush, Kaala also stars Bollywood actors Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Pankaj Tripathi along with Samuthirakani and Anjali Patil.

Kaala teaser was earlier planned to release on Thursday morning, but the makers postponed the date to Friday due to the demise of Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya.

“Due to the demise of respected Jagadguru Poojyashri Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya, as a mark of respect Kaala teaser will be released on 2nd March. Apologies to all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the teaser,” Dhanush took to his Twitter page to share the update.

Kaala also marks the Tamil comeback of veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar after nine years his debut Tamil film Bommalattam was released in 2008. The film also marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Dhanush. The Kolaveri Di star has earlier bankrolled films like Kaaka Muttai, Visaaranai and Power Paandi.

Meanwhile, the makers of Kaala have released few stills from the film on Thursday. And as expected, all the pics had gone viral across the social media.
