Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol : Mohanlal blockbuster emerges first Rs. 50 crore Malayalam grosser of 2017

Malayalam actor Mohanlal's first release of the year, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has completed one-month of its theatrical release. Directed by Vellimoonga fame Jibu Jacob and produced by Sophia Paul, the family entertainer was released on 21 January at the Kerala Box Office. Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol features Meena in the female lead.

The film continued its successful run overseas as well. At the UAE Box Office, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol crosses the Rs. 9 crore mark in 10-theatrical days whereas at UK Box Office, the film minted Rs. 1 crore in 6 days.

And now, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has joined the elite club of Rs. 50 crore at the box office worldwide. The film also emerged as the first Rs. 50 crore Malayalam grosser of the year.
