Mohanlal's Manyam Puli to release on 2 December
The censor board has cleared Manyam Puli, the Telugu dubbed version of Mohanlal's Malayalam blockbuster Pulimurugan. The film has got a clean 'U' certificate from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) on Thursday.The fate of the film's censor certificate had created headlines and became a trending topic on Twitter and other social networking sites.
Manyam Puli will be the actor's third Telugu release of the year after Manamantha and Janatha Garage. While Manamantha received critical acclaim, Janatha Garage went on to become the highest Telugu grosser of 2016 by raking in more than Rs. 135 crore worldwide.
Manyam Puli also stars Telugu actor Jagapati Babu and Bengali actress Kamalini Mukherjee. The action-entertainer is slated to be released on 2 December 2016.
