The film, which released on Thursday, 1 September, had the advantage of a 5-day weekend and has minted a good Rs 3 crore at the Kerala Box Office. The presence of Laalettan and Muscle Aliyan has helped the film gain a larger audience to watch the action-entertainer flick, directed by Koratala Siva.
2) Pretham
Ranjith Shankar - Jayasurya's Pretham continued its excellent run at Kerala Box Office. The horror-comedy flick, which had released on 12 August, has crossed the coveted Rs 10 crore mark at the Kerala Box Office. 4) Akira
Like Kidaari, AR Murugadoss' third Bollywood outing Akira too had a good opening weekend at the Kerala Box Office. The action-thriller which stars Sonakshi Sinha as Akira has managed to collect Rs 50 lakh. The film has been praised for Sonakshi's acting, which is touted as her best performance since Lootera.
5) Inspector Dawood Ibrahim
The second Jayasurya-starrer of August, IDI, had an average fourth weekend at the Kerala Box Office. The film stars the National-Award winning actor in a never-seen-before avatar as Inspector Dawood Ibrahim. The mass entertainer marks the directorial debut of actor Sajid Yahiya.
