Last Friday release, Vettah is continuing its good run at the Kerala box office. Vettah stars Manju Warrior, Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Sandhya. The film has reportedly collected a good Rs 2 crore during the opening weekend. However, the entire Vettah team and cine lovers are still in shock following the sudden demise of the film's director, Rajesh Pillai. His death comes one day after the release of his film.
Maheshinte Prathikaram continued its golden run at the Box Office with rock steady collections even during its third week. The film, which released on 5 February, managed to collect around Rs 1 crore on its third weekend. Total collections of the film after three weeks are Rs 11 crore plus and emerges the biggest solo hit of actor Fahadh Faasil.

Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju too passed the third weekend with flying colours. The film was steady with nearly Rs 80 lakh collections in its third week. The film is now in the super hit zone with Rs 10.80 crore collections in three weeks. Action Hero Biju turned out to be Nivin's fifth film to cross the magical Rs 10 crore mark at the box office after Thattathin Marayathu, Om Shanthi Oshaana, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, and Premam.

Mammootty's Puthiya Niyamam dropped badly in its second week with a limited growth of Rs 0.75 lakh. The week two collections of this Mammootty starrer came as a surprise as word of mouth for the film was very good. But its poor release timing dented its business. After two weeks, Puthiya Niyamam's collections stands at Rs 7.75 crore which is just average considering the film's budget of Rs 5.50 crore.
