Kannada Box Office : Puneeth Rajkumar's Raajakumara emerges actor's biggest release, opened to good reports
Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar's new release, Raajakumara released today. Written-directed by Santhosh Ananddram of Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari fame and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the action-thriller also marks the Kannada debut of Tamil actress Priya Anand. Raajakumara also stars an ensemble cast including Ananth Nag, Sharath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Chikkanna, Avinash and Chitra Shenoy. Raajkumara also stars Malayalam actress Jennifer Antony.
The good news for the makers is Raajakumara has opened to good response at the box office.
The film was released in 310 theaters with 280 multiplexes shows across Karnataka. The Kannada superstar's previous release,
Doddmane Hudga had released in 340 theaters and had 254 shows at multiplexes on day 1.
As per the early Friday reports, Raajakumara has taken good opening at the ticket windows.
