Kabali : The Rajinikanth blockbuster set to be the first Tamil film to be released in Thailand

After dominating the Indian Box Office with record breaking collections, Rajinikanth blockbuster Kabali is all set for its grand release in Thailand. Interestingly, the action-entertainer is the first Tamil film to be released in Thailand.

Popular Thailand distribution company, Major Cinema Paragon will release Kabali in Thailand and reportedly the Thai version of the Thalaivar film is releasing in more than 100 screens across the Thailand. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 5 January 2017.

Kabali featured Thalaivar in the role of a gangster - one that seems to be tailor-made to include some of the superstar's popular mannerisms. Upon its release,

Kabali set the Box Office on fire by minting more than Rs. 100 crore worldwide in two-theatrical days. The film went on to become the second highest grossing Indian film of the year after Salman Khan's Sultan.
