Guru : Trailer of Saala Khadoos' Telugu remake featuring Venkatesh and Ritika Singh out
The trailer of Telugu actor Venkatesh's upcoming film Guru is out. Written - directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and produced by S. Shashikanth, the film is an official remake of director's 2016 bilingual film titled Irudhi Suttru in Tamil and Saala Khadoos in Hindi. Both the versions starred Madhavan and Ritika Singh in lead roles and were box office hits. The Tamil version went on to win the 2016 National award for Ritika Singh.
Venkatesh portrays the role of boxing coach done by Madhavan in its original while Ritika Singh will reprise her role in the Telugu remake.
Guru also stars veteran actor Nassar in a significant role. The music of the film has been done by Santhosh Narayanan of Kabali, Bairavaa fame. The film is expected to hit the screens soon.
