Global Box-Office: Rajinikanth's Kabali does well but fails to beat Salman Khan's Sultan

Last week's release, Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali has finished its first week run on a joyous note at the worldwide Box Office. The action-thriller, which released on 22 July to an earth-shattering response has also set new opening records across the world.

The producer of Kabali, Kalaipuli S Thanu organised a success party of the Rajinikanth film on Thursday evening in Chennai. During the event, the super hit producer revealed the 6-day official worldwide Box Office figures of the film. Thanu stated that his film Kabali had minted a massive Rs 320 crore in six days at the worldwide Box Office. The producer also revealed that the movie has collected over Rs 6 crore in six days alone in Chennai.

And as per early reports Kabali has ended the first week run with a good Rs 15 crore on Thursday, taking its first week total collection to a whopping Rs 335 crore at the worldwide Box Office. The first week worldwide collection of Kabali is second to Salman Khan's Sultan which collected over Rs 370 crore in its 7-day run.
