Finally it's official! Shahid Kapoor to reprise Vijay Deverakonda's role in the Bollywood remake of Arjun Reddy

Fans of Shahid Kapoor have a reason to rejoice as the Bollywood actor finally confirmed that he's doing the Hindi remake of the 2017 Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. Shahid Kapoor will be seen portraying the titular role in the film, portrayed brilliant by Vijay Deverakonda in it's original version.

Shahid Kapoor took to his Twitter account to confirm the update. He also shared a pic in which the actor was seen along with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producers and Ashwin Varde Murad Khetani.

Earlier, when asked about Sandeep Vanga’s statement about casting Shahid Kapoor in Arjun Reddy remake, he said,

“Sandeep Vanga also thinks that I am the right choice? Then I have to think. I am very excited that it might come to me. It might happen. You will hear an official announcement if anything happens".

The film is expected to go on floors from July and will be shot in India and abroad.
