Exclusive: Salman Khan replaces Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Vikram Vedha

It's known that national award winning filmmaker and Reliance Entertainment have teamed up for the Bollywood remake of Gayathri-Pushkar duo's Tamil blockbuster Vikram Vedha. The action-drama starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. While Madhavan portrays the role of police officer Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi played gangster Vedha's role.

Earlier, there were reports that Shah Rukh Khan has been finalized along with Madhavan in the Hindi remake of Vikram Medha. In fact, Madhavan too confirmed the same through his Twitter page.

However, the latest reports arriving from Tamil media reports are the makers have replaced Shah Rukh Khan with none other than Salman Khan.

Reportedly, Salman Khan will reprise the gangster Vedha's role in the Bollywood remake of Vikram Vedha. The untitled film see the Dabangg hero essaying an outright negative role for the first time in his career.

An official confirmation on this is expected to be announced soon.
