Dhoni in Rajinikanth's Kabali avatar: Hit or miss?

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth celebrated the 41st year of his acting career on 18 August. Fondly known as Thalaivar by fans, Rajinikanth is touted as the biggest superstar of India owing to his incredible dominance in the Indian Box Office as well as overseas.

While most of the Tamil film fraternity wished the superstar via social media platforms, Indian cricketer and current ODI-T20 captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni took to Facebook to post a tribute to the superstar in his own style. Dhoni shared a picture of himself attempting to mimic a pose from Rajinikanth's latest superhit -- Kabali.

Interestingly, Dhoni is called as the Thalaivar of cricket among his Tamil Nadu fans. He was also the captain of Chennai Super Kings, an Indian Premier League team.

The two-time-World Cup-winning captain was recently spotted in Chennai at the launch of the Tamil trailer of his biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Meanhwile, his biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is slated to release on 30 September 2016.
