CONFIRMED! After Akshay Kumar in 2.0, this superstar to essay villain in Rajinikanth's upcoming film
It's known that talented director Karthik Subbraj of Pizza and Mercury fame will be teaming up with superstar Rajinikanth for his upcoming film, to be bankrolled under the production of Sun Pictures.
Earlier, many media reported Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's name as the main antagonist of the film.
However, now it has been confirmed that none other than superstar Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the villain of the Rajinikanth film. The film also marks Vijay Sethupathi's return as villain after the blockbuster Vikram Vedha. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi is the third main lead actor after Akshay Kumar (2.0) and Nana Patekar (Kaala) to play the antagonist role in Rajinikanth films.
The makers also roped in Anirudh to compose the music of the untitled film, which is currently in the pre-production stage.
