It's widely known that Chiranjeevi is portraying a dual role in his 150th film, Khaidi No. 150. Directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Chiranjeevi's son and actor-producer Ram Charan, the film is a remake of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster Kaththi. Khaidi No 1 also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Tarun Arora, Ali and Tanikella Bharani.

And now, Ram Charan has confirmed that only 30% of shooting is left for the much-awaited Telugu film of 2017. He also added that he is planning to release his father's magnum opus in January 2017 as a Sankranthi treat to his fans.

He was quoted as saying:

'We have completed more than 70% of Khaidi No. 150 and my father had also started dubbing for the film. We are happy with the tremendous output of the film so far and are planning to release the film in Jan 2017 on the occasion of Sankranthi as a treat to dad's millions of fans all over the globe'.

Interestingly, Khaidi No. 150 also marks the end of Chiranjeevi's nine-year-long break from the big screen. The actor's last release, Shankar Dada Zindabad, the Telugu remake of Bollywood film Munnabhai MBBS, was released in 2007.
