Friday saw the release of all-India blockbuster Baahubali 2 at the China Box Office and as expected the war-drama has opened to a thundering response. Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 released in India on April 28 2017 and went on to collect Rs. 1700 crore worldwide. The film also emerged as the first Rs. 1000 crore grosser at the Indian Box Office.

On it's opening day, Baahubali 2 has minted $2.85 (nearly Rs. 19 crore) million at the China Box Office. Baahubali 2 also unseats the opening day records set by Aamir Khan starrer Dangal ($2.49 million) and Salman Khan blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan ($2.20) as well.

Baahubali 2 featured Prabhas in dual roles as father-son duo Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali. The film also starred Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj.
