
It is widely known that Tamil film Kabali has emerged as the highest opener ever in India. Earlier, Catch had reported that the Rajinikanth starrer had minted a massive Rs 44 crore on its opening day to become the highest opener at the Box Office. The film has set new records in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu as well. The Hindi dubbed version of Kabali is also doing decent business at the Box Office.
The record collections of Kabali have impressed the big names in Bollywood as well. Author-turned-screen writer, Chetan Bhagat stated that Tamilians are only 5% of India's population and still Kabali, a Tamil film has emerged as the all-time highest Indian film opener with Rs 44 crore collection. The 2 States writer took to Twitter to praise the collection of the Rajinikanth starrer.

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn was also quick to praise the Rajinikanth starrer through his Twitter account. The Shivaay actor stated that Kabali's collections are one more story to add to the legend that is Rajinikanth.
