Prabhu Deva productions' Bogan finally gets a new release date. Directed by Lakshman of Romeo Juliet fame and produced by actor-turned-director PrabhuDeva, the action-thriller stars Arvind Swamy, Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani as the main leads. And now, Bogan gets a new release date as the Jayam Ravi starrer has been confirmed for release on February 9. On Friday night, the makers took to their Twitter page to reveal the new release date.
Bogan also marks the collaboration between Arvind Swamy-Jayam Ravi duo after the blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Arvind Swamy plays a scion of a royal family in Tamil Nadu while Jayam Ravi will be seen once again in a cop's role after Thani Oruvan. Bogan stars Hansika Motwani as the main female lead. The Arrambam actress, Akshara Gowda will be seen in an important role in the film.
Interestingly, Bogan will be Jayam Ravi's fifth film to release in the month of February. His previous February releases include Miruthan (19 Feb 2016), Aadhi Bhagavan (22 Feb 2013), Deepavali (9 Feb 2007) and Idhaya Thirudan (10 Feb 2006)
