Bairavaa teaser: Another action-entertainer from Ilayathalapathy Vijay
The teaser of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Bairavaa was unveiled on 27 October. The film, written and directed by Bharathan, also stars Keerthy Suresh, Jagapati Babu Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji.
The one minute, six second-long teaser was scheduled to be released at 12:01am on 28 October as a Diwali gift for Vijay fans. However, the makers decided to unveil it two hours in advance in view of the demand from the star's massive fan base.
The teaser is full of action sequences featuring the Thuppakki actor. The teaser also includes a few romantic scenes with Keerthy Suresh. The Bairavaa teaser is peppered with the main ingredients of Vijay films - his whistle-inducing dialogues and one-liners.

The teaser also reveals one of the film's most glaring errors. The makers have not retained popular stylist Komal Shahani for Bairavaa. The absence of Komal - who was the brains behind Vijay's popular look in films like Thuppakki, Jilla and Theri - is evident in Bairavaa as Vijay looks rather badly styled in some outdated clothes and shoddily-made costumes. Some of Vijay's fans also took to Twitter to express their disappointment on the star's look in the film.
