SS Rajamouli is yet to finish the climax shoot of his upcoming magnum opus, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. But the brand 'Baahubali' has already started earning crores for the producers K Raghavendra Rao, Shobu Yarlagadda, and Prasad Devineni.
Earlier, Catch had reported that the Kerala distribution rights of the Baahubali sequel have been sold to Global United Media for a record-breaking Rs 10.5 crore.
And now, it has been confirmed that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Baahubali 2 have been sold for a bomb to one of the leading distributors of Chennai. The TN theatrical rights of the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali, have been sold for a massive Rs 45 crore. The makers have not revealed the names of the buyers; however, according to our sources, Jazz Cinemas of Chennai are the lucky distributors to bag the TN rights of the much-awaited film of 2017.
Baahubali 2 is slated to hit the screens on 14 April 2017.
