As excitement grows over SS Rajamouli's upcoming magnum opus, Baahubali: The Conclusion, the rumour mills are abuzz with reports. According to latest updates, a few media houses claimed that Rajamouli had approached Shriya Saran to play the female lead opposite Rana Daggubati.
But the Sivaji actress squashed the reports. She said:
"I'm not doing Baahubali 2. No one has approached me with any roles. These stories are baseless."
However, Shriya has said she would love to be a part of the sequel - even if it is in the form of a short guest appearance.
Meanwhile, the makers are yet to cast the role of Rana's wife in the film. According to reports, Shruti Haasan, Trisha and Lavanya Tripathi are being considered for the role.
Latest reports state the makers are planning to release the teaser of Baahubali: The Conclusion on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera. The teaser will be simultaneously released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam on 14 April 2017.
