The shooting is expected to finish by November 2016. The multi-starrer will hit the screens on 14 April, 2017. The good news

for the makers of Baahubali 2 is that the film has started minting money even before it has been entirely shot! Reportedly, the Kerala rights of the Malayalam dubbed version of Baahubali 2 have been sold to Global United Media at an all-time record price of Rs 10.5 crore, beating Rajinikanth's Kabali by a big margin. Earlier, Catch had reported that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal acquired the Kerala rights of the Thalaiva starrer for Rs 7.5 crore.

Interestingly, Global United Media, who had distributed the the first part of Baahubali in Kerala had minted huge profits upon its release in God's own country. The distribution company had also raked in good profits by releasing this year's Hollywood blockbuster The Jungle Book 3D in Kerala.
