AR Murugadoss - Mahesh Babu's untitled bilingual film starts rolling in Hyderabad

The much-awaited AR Murugadoss-Mahesh Babu film starts rolling from today. Touted as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, the film marks the Tamil debut of the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Murugadoss and his team have begun the shoot of this yet-to-be-titled film with a song in Hyderabad's 7 Acres Annapurna Studios.

Earlier, Catch had reported that the Rs 90 crore project is jointly bankrolled by NV Prasad​, Tagore Madhu, Reliance Entertainment, Leo Productions, Mega Super Good Films, Fox Star Studios along with Mahesh Babu and director Murugadoss, under their respective banners.

The music of the film has been composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film also marks the Telugu debut of popular cinematographer, Santhosh Sivan. Director-turned-actor SJ Surya has been roped in to portray the main antagonist in the film.

Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss' Bollywood film Akira, starring Sonakshi Sinha, is slated to release on 2 September, 2016.
