Vijay starrer Theri's much-anticipated trailer is finally out. Directed by Atlee and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the 2 minute 3 second trailer begins with the introduction of Vijay and and Baby Nainika, daughter of actress Meena. Ilayathalapathy is seen in two different avatars, single father Joseph Kuruvilla and police officer Vijay Kumar.

Theri's audio - trailer launch was held at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai, on Sunday. The trailer has amassed 1 million views on social media in less than 12 hours.

Amy Jackson is looking different, yet graceful in her new makeover. Samantha Ruth Prabhu as poilce officer Vijay's wife looks appealing in her homely avatar. There are a couple of blink and miss scenes of the hilarious Motta Rajendran and veteran actress Radhika along with Vijay.

The last few scenes showcase Ilayathalapathi Vijay's mass avatar in a big way as he jumps off the cliff without any body double and a scene where he uses his hand like a gun and shoots! These scenes are surely going to be a massive treat for Ilayathalapathy Vijay and theatres will resound with whistles and cheers.

Looking at the trailer, Theri seems to be a perfect family entertainer with an equal package of emotions, action, comedy, romance, dance and the father - daughter story. Antony L Ruben's editing and cinematographer George C William's grand visuals along with GV Prakash rocking score make us want to watch the trailer on repeat mode. Theri is also the 50th film for music composer GV Prakash.
