Akshay Kumar's character in 2.0 will be at par with The Dark Knight's Joker, reveals writer Jeyamohan

Tamil director Shankar's upcoming magnum-opus 2.0 is undoubtedly the most awaited film of 2017. The Rajinikanth starrer also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The Bollywood Khiladi plays the main antagonist role in the film. The film also stars Amy Jackson, Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Shajon and Adil Hussain.

In a recent interview to a leading daily, 2.0 writer Jeyamohan had revealed that Akshay Kumar's character in the film will be on par with the villains of Christopher Nolan films including The Joker of Batman: Dark Knight series. Akshay's character in the film, named Dr Richard, is reportedly a scientist who turns into a crow after a failed experiment.

Meanwhile, the first look launch of 2.0 is slated to be unveiled on Sunday at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai. The star-studded event will be hosted by popular Bollywood director Karan Johar.
