Two Malayalam films, Akashvani and Hello Namasthe, released yesterday and unfortunately both opened to very low collections. A slow opening for both films were always on the cards as neither has any crowd pulling hero. The reviews have also been average.
Akashvani stars Vijay Babu and Kavya Madhavan whereas the multi-starrer Hello Namasthe stars Vinay Forrt, Sanju Sivram, Bhavana and Miya.
The first day collections of both films were lower than the eight day collection of all the films released in the previous weeks.

After a collection of Rs 4 crore plus within the first weekend, Puthiya Niyamam dropped on the week days. The first week will touch the Rs 6 crore mark.
The Nivin Pauly starrer, Action Hero Biju, had a decent hold during the weekdays of the second week. The film will be crossing the Rs 10 crore mark by today or tomorrow.
Fahadh Faasil's Maheshinte Prathikaram continued its dream run with a solid hold throughout the second week. The film scores over last week's release, Puthiya Niyamam, and showed rock steady collections by collecting around Rs 3 crore in the weekdays of second week. The total collection of the film after 2 weeks is around Rs 9 crore.

The dull opening of Akashvani and Hello Namasthe indicates that these three films will continue to dominate in the coming days.
