Aamir Khan's Dangal unseats Mohanlal's Pulimurugan to become the fastest Rs. 2 crore grosser at Cochin multiplexes

Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is doing phenomenal business at the Kerala Box Office. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and jointly produced by Aamir Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is based on the true story of former wrestler-turned-coach, Mahavir Singh Phogat.

After becoming the fastest Rs. 1 crore grosser at the Cochin multiplexes, the Aamir Khan starrer has now emerged as the fastest Rs. 2 crore grosser at the Cochin multiplexes. Surprisingly, Dangal has shattered the record of all-time Malayalam blockbuster, Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan to do the same.

While the Mohanlal blockbuster took 16-theatrical days to record Rs. 2 crore at the Cochin multiplexes, Dangal has crossed the same in 15-theatrical days.
