2.0 : Teaser of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar film to be released on Tamil New Year
The teaser release date of Shankar's 2.0 is finally out. Produced by Lyca Productions for a whopping Rs. 400 crore, the sci-fi thriller is set to be India's biggest film date. 2.0 stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in main roles. The film, a sequel to 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran also marks the Tamil and Telugu debut of Akshay Kumar as the main antagonist. The film is going to be released in three languages, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
And now, the 2.0 teaser gets a release date as the teaser of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer will be unveiled on April 14, on the occasion of Tamil New year. Earlier, Lyca productions had planned to release the teaser on Rajinikanth's birthday, but that got postponed due to the demise of former Tamil Nadu CM, J.Jayalalithaa.
The music of 2.0 has been composed by AR Rahman. 2.0 is scheduled to hit the screens in Diwali 2017.
