Pro Kabaddi League: U.P Yoddha vs Gujarat Fortune Giants; key players and predicted seven

Bottom tabled team, UP Yoddha will go face to face with Gujarat Fortune Giants in the first match of the final day of Pro Kabaddi League 2019’s Hyderabad leg at 7:30 tonight at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

UP Yoddha, led by Nitesh Kumar were thrashed by the Bengal Warriors as the lost 17-48. Their defence unit were stumbled and even star raiders like Monu Goyat and Shrikanth Jadhav couldn’t standout.

Concurrently, the Fortune Giants, effortlessly beat the Bangaluru Bulls with the score of 42-24 with solid defensive effort displayed by the young side. This clash between the raiding powerhouse and the defensive wall will be exciting to witness as the nail biting encounter is on the cards.

UP Yoddha Key Players: Monu Goyat, Nitesh Kumar and Shrikanth Jadhav

UP Yoddha were very poor on the defensive line and their cover combination was shambles due to the lackluster performance from Narender. Left corner Sachin Kumar made a lot of unwanted tackles and even tried to challenge Mahender Singh.

Captain Nitesh Kumar was also struggling to score points as the Yoddha’s could only get four tackle points.

In the raiding unit, Monu Goyat and Shrikanth Jadhav couldn’t score a point, getting tackled three times, while in action. Rishank Devadiga, who suffered a niggle was badly missed as he is expected to make a return for this match.

Gujarat Fortune Giants Key Players: Sachin Tanwar, Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal

The Fortune Giants displayed a brilliant all round show that saw them hold a huge advantage over the Bangaluru Bulls in their last confrontation, with captain Sunil Kumar’s six tackle point.

He was ably proped up by left corner defender Sumit, who scored four tackle points while right cover defender Pravesh Bhainswal concluded with two tackle points, going into this match, Ruturaj Koravi could come in place of Ankit, who displayed a poor form in the right corner.

In the raiding unit, Sachin Tanwar was assisted by Rohit Gulia and More GB as the trio picked up 12 raid points. Later in the match Sonu Gahlawat came in as a substitute and scored five raid points. Fortune Giants should carry on with the same tactics inorder to repeat their success.
