Hardik Patel removes 'Congress' from Twitter bio (Twitter)

Miffed with Gujarat state party leadership, Gujarat Congress Committee working president Hardik Patel has decided to notch up his resentment by removing 'Congress' from Twitter bio.

Rumours are rife that he could hold the hand of BJP, a possibility Hardik Patel has denied, at least for now.

Ironically, he has no calms qualms about praising recent decision of BJP - revocation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. If a Congress leader of his stature is all praises for BJP then it is bound to widen the chasm between him and other Congress leaders in Gujarat.

As per numerous media reports in the recent past, there have been reports of the infighting in the Congress Gujarat unit leading to speculations of him joining the ruling BJP.

The Aam Aadmi Party also invited Patel amid speculations of him quitting the grand-old party.

Recently, Hardik Patel associated himself with Hindutva claiming: "I come from a Raghuvanshi family, I have Hindutva. We have been associated with Hindutva for thousands of years."
