‘Wonderful feeling,’ LK Advani congratulates PM Modi and Amit Shah for BJP’s unprecedented victory
Veteran leader Lal Krishan Advani on Thursday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah for his massive win of party. Founder member of BJP, LK Advani was rested by Amit Shah as he took over his Gandhinagar constituency in Gujarat.
“Heartiest congratulations to Narendrabhai Modi for steering BJP towards this unprecedented victory in elections. Amitbhai Shah as BJP President & all dedicated workers of the party have put in enormous effort in making sure that BJP's message reaches every voter,” LK Advani wished.
“It's such a wonderful feeling that in a country as large & diverse as India, the electoral process has been so successfully completed & for that, my compliments to the electorate & all the agencies involved. May our great nation be blessed with a bright future ahead,” he added.

PM Narendra Modi, who is contesting from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, is leading by over 4 lakh seats. His main rival is Congress’ Ajay Rai and SP’ Shalini Yadav. Amit Shah is contesting from Advani's constituency Gandhinagar. He is leading by over 5 lakh votes.
According to the trends, BJP-led NDA is all set to form a government for the second term with a comfortable margin. Narendra Modi is to retain the Prime Ministerial office again. The final results will be declared by the evening.
