Media reports are that Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray may contest assembly elections in 2019. The reports suggest that Aaditya can contest elections from Worli or Mahim.

It is being told that during a key meeting, the statics and demographics of both the assembly constituency were discussed.

However, Aaditya has left his decision to his father and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray that he will take the final call whether Aaditya will break the legacy of Thackeray family or not?

As if Uddhav Thackeray goes ahead with the decision then Aaditya will become the first person in Thackeray family that will fight elections.

Aaditya is the third generation Thackeray family after grand-father Balasaheb Thackeray and father Uddhav Thackeray. However, Aaditya's cousin and Yuva Sena leader Varun Sardesai has urged him to fight elections in an Instagram post.

“This is the time, this is the opportunity. Mission legislative assembly 2019. Maharashtra is waiting - - Aaditya Thackeray,” posted Sardesai.
