Bageshwar Dham 'Baba' or Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, a self-proclaimed godman, is still making headlines on internet after he allegedly fled from an event where he was challenged to prove his ‘miracle powers.’

The Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) had challenged Shastri during a Ramkatha event in Nagpur last week, but the godman left the event prematurely, leading to questions about his alleged abilities.

A video of the incident went viral on social media. Shastri has since claimed that the incident was a conspiracy, while MANS has accused the Maharaj of the Bageshwar Dham of promoting superstition and has called for police action against him.
