Union Minister Anurag Thakur on August 20 suggested Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia should change the spelling of his name to "MONEY SHH" following yesterday’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid at his residence in connection with alleged violations in the now-withdrawn Delhi Excise Policy.

He alleged that Sisodia is good at taking money and keeping quiet about it. "Manish Sisodia might have now changed the spelling of his name too. Now it is - M O N E Y SHH. He collects money and maintains silence over it,” Thakur said while addressing a press conference in Delhi today.

Union Minister also challenged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to answer his questions over the corruption in liquor policy within 24 hours.

"Manish Ji, if your liquor policy was right, why did you take it back? It's like 'chor ki daadhi mei tinka'... why is there a soft corner for liquor businessmen?... I challenge Arvind Kejriwal to come in front of the nation and answer me within 24 hours," Anurag said.

He further stated that CM Arvind Kejriwal was the kingpin and Sisodia is accused number one in the alleged liquor scam.

Thakur's remarks came after Manish Sisodia, earlier today, said that the BJP-led Central Government is not worried about excise scam but about Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister alleged that the whole proceedings and raids against him were all political and had nothing to do with the alleged violations in the excise policy.
