Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi who is campaigning for PM Narendra Modi and his party BJP has recently slammed Kamal Haasan for saying that India's first terrorist was a 'Hindu'. Vivek Oberoi who is playing the leading role in Narendra Modi biopic asks Kamal Haasan that you made comment only because he was speaking in a Muslim dominated area.

"Dear Kamal sir, you are a great artist. Just like art has no religion, terror has no religion either! You can say Ghodse was a terrorist, why would you specify ‘Hindu’? Is it because you were in a Muslim dominated area looking for votes?" Vivek Oberoi tweeted.

Tamil and actor and leader Kamal Haasan at a rally ahead of by-elections in Aravakurichi in Tamil Nadu on Sunday said that Nathuram Godse was India's first independent terrorist.

“I'm not saying this because this is a Muslim dominated area. I'm telling this because it’s in front of the Gandhi statue. Independent India's first terrorist was a Hindu. His name was Nathuram Godse. It starts from there. I'm Gandhi's great-grandson. I'm here to seek justice for that murder," he said at the rally.

"I'll thump my heart and say that I'm a good Indian and any Good Indian will want the country to be peaceful and equal to all. He will always want the tricolours of the national flag to remain the same always," he continued in the rally.

Let us tell you that the area of Aravakurichi goes for bypoll on 19th May and the seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019. However, the BJP party has asked for Kamal Haasan should be arrested for his Hindu terror remark.
