
Delhi Police on Friday issued an alert ahead of the 26 January Republic Day celebrations. Police are on the hunt for a missing white colour Alto taxi.
The cab was hired from Pathankot earlier this week by three unknown people. (Seen in the photo above).
The car - with a registration number HP01D2440 - remains untraceable. The driver, who was hired along with the cab, has been found dead at Kangra in Himachal Pradesh.
The Delhi Police has tweeted a warning along with the details of the car.

According to the police, the taxi was hired from Pathankot - where the Air Force base was attacked by armed gunmen on 2 January.
The deceased taxi driver, identified as Vijay Kumar, hails from Himachal Pradesh's Kangra.
In a strange turn of events, a police officer's car with a beacon was also stolen from Noida on Wednesday.
There have been reports that of a possible terror attack ahead of Republic Day. French President Francois Hollance is set to be the chief guest at this year's celebrations.
