SSC CGL Exam: SC asks Commission to declare 2017 result for recruitment in Central Govt jobs

Supreme Court of India has taken a major decision on the SSC CGL 2017 exam paper leak issue today (9th May 2019). The apex court has removed the stay order and asked the Staff Selection Commission to declare 2017 result for recruitment in Central Govt jobs.

As per the reports of ANI, SC also asked SSC to appoint a high power committee headed by retd SC judge to suggest measures to make the conduct of entrance exams for jobs and admission in educational institutions foolproof.


 

Earlier, Supreme Court has ordered SSC to announce the results of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 re-examination that was conducted on 9th March 2018.

However, the results of other dates examination of SSC CGL tier 2 were on hold.

Due to which lakhs of candidates were suffering. Last month, SC asked the CBI to look into the matter. Earlier on 14th March, CBI had already registered the enquiry about the case.

Let us remind you that the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam was allegedly leaked which led to massive protests and agitation by students against the Commission.
