Smriti Irani arrives in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur for daughter's wedding

Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani arrived in Rajasthan on February 8 arrived in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur from Delhi for the wedding of her daughter Shanelle Irani.

She arrived at the Jodhpur airport and left for Nagaur by road.


The wedding ceremony will take place at the Khimsar Fort on Wednesday and Thursday and will be attended by the Irani family members and close friends.

The Khimsar Fort, a 15th-century fort belonging to BJP leader Gajendra Singh, is surrounded by sand dunes and now operates as a heritage hotel renowned for hosting wedding ceremonies.

Irani shared the news of her daughter’s marriage in in December 2021 on her Instagram account.

The Minister’s soon to be son-in-law Arjun Bhalla is an NRI and reportedly lives in Canada with his family, while Shanelle is a lawyer by profession.

Arjun Bhalla, the soon-to-be son-in-law of the Minister, is an NRI who resides in Canada with his family. Shanelle, on the other hand, is a practicing lawyer.

The Union Minister has three children Shanelle, Zohr, and Zoish. Shanelle is Zubin Irani’s daughter from his first marriage to Mona Irani. Zohr and Zoish are Smriti's children with Zubin.
