Varanasi: Shocking! Four sons preserved their mother’s body with chemicals for this reason; know here

A shocking or a shameful incident have come to light from Varanasi, where four sons preserved their 70-year-old mother body for five months. You might be thinking that this their love for mother but, no, the reason for doing such act was not good. However, their mother died in the month of January and they preserved her body by using chemicals so that foul smell could not be spread from the 70-year-old dead body. They did this heinous crime for their greed only, as they wanted to withdraw the pension of their mother that she gets every month.

The four sons applied chemicals on her body and burnt ‘loban’ (gum benzoin) in the house. The incident came to light when an anonymous caller informed the police about the situation. According to the Police, a resident dialled 100 and informed that 70-year-old lady named, Amaravati Devi had died on 13th January 2018 but her family had hidden her death news from relatives and neighbours. Therefore, Police reached the crime spot and sent the dead body for post-mortem.

Reportedly, the woman had five sons and one daughter, out of the five sons, four stayed with her at home. While the fifth son, Jyoti Prakash, lives away from his family, reports said.
Her four sons identified as Ravi Prakash, Lalle Prakash, Tinu and Girish and the daughter’s name is Vijay Laxmi.

In a bid to prevent the foul smell of dead body spread, the sons had applied the chemicals and burnt ‘loban’ on their mother’s body. As per the reports of HT, cops said that Amravati’s daughter-in-law also supported her husband in doing this big mistake.

During the investigation, Police also found five blank cheques signed by Amaravati Devi in the house. However, the police are waiting for the post-mortem reports so that they could know the reason behind 70-year-old lady death and also following the reason behind death, the case could be filed under relevant sections.

On the other hand, one of the sons told police that they thought their mother had slipped into a coma, therefore, they took care of her by providing her with medicines on daily basis.

Well, the truth will be known after the reports come but we must say that this act of the sons of the mother is really shameful for the society.
