Shocking! 19-year-old student, who topped CBSE Board Exam alleges gang-rape by group of men in Haryana; Zero FIR filed

In a shocking event, a 19-year-old college student who topped CBSE Board Exam and was rewarded by the President for the same alleged she was abducted and gang-raped by a group of men in Haryana on Wednesday.

The teenager was allegedly rape until she fell unconscious and was later dumped at a bus stand. As per reports the girl, a second-year student was on her way to a coaching centre near her village in Rewari when three men allegedly kidnapped her. The men were in a car and they later dragged her o a field, where they raped her.


"My daughter was rewarded by Modi ji after she topped the CBSE board exams. Modi ji says 'Beti Padho, Beti Bacho', but how? I want justice for my daughter. Police has taken no action yet, " said victim's mother.

A few other men who were already at the field also took turns to rape her, the police said. The woman says all the men are from her village.

According to the victim's parents, the cops refused to file their complaint or register a First Information Report or FIR. They alleged they have been running from one police station to another, hoping to file a complaint, after the accused threatened them.

A police officer, however, claimed a "zero FIR" has been filed against the accused based on the woman's complaint and investigations are on. A zero FIR is filed in a police station which is not in charge of the area where the crime took place and can be transferred to the relevant police station.
